Firstly try to reboot the ring doorbell device by performing the factory reset.

If you use a wired ring doorbell device then you need to check the health status of the ring doorbell device to make sure that the power getting to the camera is more than enough or not.

After that try to do the power cycle of your ring device by pushing the breaker. You can also take the wires out and try to reconnect again.

Ensure the option of night vision on your Ring doorbell device is turned on.

To turn on the feature on your ring doorbell device you need to follow these steps:

Open your Ring application

Click on the three dots icon to open the main menu

Then click on the device settings

Then click on the video setting option

Click on the color night vision option

Tap on enable option to the night color vision option


Ring doorbell night vision video or image quality is poor:


Unstable or Weak internet connection: the main reason for the video qualities getting poor or the night vision option not working is because of the unstable or weak internet connection. Ring doorbell device always requires a minimum wireless speed of 2mbps if you are not getting enough speed in that case you just try to reset the internet router and after that try to connect the cameras again with your wireless system again.

Default device: if the Ring doorbell device is not working at all and you are not able to see any videos and images that means the camera is faulty. Replace the ring doorbell camera.

Wiring not done properly: poor wiring is one of the main reasons for creating night vision troubles. If the problem of night vision still exists then make sure the power kit is installed properly. The power kit is responsible for making sure that the ring doorbell device is receiving enough power or not.
